Relevant Experiences
- Has been practicing aw for more than 15 years in forestry investment sector in Brazil, having assisted the main Timber Investment Management Organizations (TIMO) of the world.
- Rendered legal services on due diligences, purchase and sale, lease, among other transactions and structures, involving rural Properties, companies and forestry assets, provided that such projects totalized an amount exceeding R$ 500 million and areas with planted forests or able for planting or conservancy which size represents more than 100,000 hectares in several States of Brazil.
- Assisted the purchaser in the acquisition of retailer established in Southern and Southeastern Brazil by one of the biggest companies acting in such sector in the world, including during the performance of the due diligence on the target company, negotiations and drafting of purchase and sale agreement in a transaction amounting more than R$ 1,7 million.
- Assisted in corporate and contractual transactions involving big companies of different economic sectors, such as solar, wind and other renewable energy generation, food manufacturing, education, software, hotel, construction, lounge management, commerce and services in general.
- Assisted the seller in a vendors’ due diligence and negotiation of a purchase and sale transaction having as object an university in the State of São Paulo to a big public-held company, for the amount of R$ 320 million, including the drafting of the purchase and sale agreement and the real estate lease agreements.
